Sometimes a kingdom's problems can be solved by simple communication. That's why his illustrious highness decided to send out letters summoning some of the troublemakers to to his throneroom. And if the recipients are a little reluctant to accept the invitation? No problem! A little siege never hurt anybody.
The Royal Writ is a tactical card-game and an excellent showcase on how to be a good king.

well done. had some overpowered cards that made it a quick run through. still fun. and i like the odd art style.
The art style is great, and I liked the story progressing in small pieces. I played the older non-steam version but will follow the development, even though the gameplay mechanics of being forced to lose resources is not something I usually enjoy. The book closing up felt satisfying and overall it's a really neat game!

Such a charming and fun little game
tried a minimum casualty run (not including trades). i managed to only have 4 casualties total. i believe 0 is possible but it would probably need a lot of luck

Something weird happening for me... Damage inflicted each turn corresponding with cards on the board, even before making contact with enemy base.

Hmm seems strange to me. Also no challenge... no point in having different abilities when playing almost anything in any order will win.

I love the way that the music gets more and more frantic.
This is an incredible, absolutely awe-inspiring game. I played it through in one go today and I am shocked. The art- so SATISFYING, the storyline- COMPELLING and FUN, the gameplay- INCREDIBLE. I generally find rogue like card games to be less interesting but this grabbed me from the start! I cannot express my wonder and joy with all the glory it deserves. This is a great game.

Holy Duke! What a POWERFUL card. Consistently got 99 power towards the later levels. Fun game, really good artwork, excited for more. Could use some more balance!

Very fun game!! I love the art style and the mechanic is very interesting. A really entertaining play. The difficulty is a bit too easy, but it could easily be upped by increasing the defense score of each castle. On most levels, I'll beat the score before any of my cards reach the end of the line.
before ending turn i should be able to take cards out of their slot and rearrange
fun story and visuals! there was however no challenge in the game and i cleared levels regardless of what i did, had no clue what i was doing either.
